Butch had a surgical radiation device implanted in his eye today. The procedure is to zap the ocular melanoma that is in his left eye. He started seeing "Chinese Dragons" floating around a few weeks ago so he went to have his eyes checked. Once Today's Vision saw the abnormal growth, they referred him to a retinal specialist, who referred him to world reknown, Dr. Milton Boniuk for the best treatment options. They decided to put a watch battery sized radiation implant in his eye- so for the next week or so Butch will be radioactive.

Everything went fine and he was released from Methodist Hospital early this afternoon. Butch now gets to rest in his own bed. He will be out for about a week so please bear with us in this time of healing. We'll keep you posted--Thanks.

Butch On A Stick

Butch On A Stick

We are working on some cool new things to better enhance the myWebtoast Dashboard experience. We are also continuing to work on new projects like Outbound Music's new website, Miami Vineyard, and other fine, upstanding clients. And yes, Butch did indeed cutt off his big ole beard. We may auction it off on ebay soon.

I'm all better now

I'm all better now

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has prayed and been there to support me through this time in my life. Not sure why my blood sugar when crazy.  I was mowing and inhaled smoke. Five minutes later I felt like I couldn't breathe and I was going to die. I went to the emergency room and got the chest problems cleared up but found out that my blood sugar was 620. Kind of weird since I was on insulin and didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. The hospital didn't really help all that much. They only got it down to 320 when they released me. I think I could have controlled it better myself. Oh well.

So for now, no more trips to the candy store. Just kidding. I hate candy. Well I'll just try to stick with the sugar free kind. Isn't it kind of weird that I live in Sugar Land? Butch's son, Cody, says that it was the sugar in the air from the old imperial sugar factory that made my blood sugar go up.

Life is pretty much back to normal. Tighter watch on the blood sugar levels and lots of herb pills. I'm enjoying Webtoast. Anyways, everyone go out and eat a burger and make a toast with diet coke to the good life. Life is too short to cry.

p.s. diet coke is best served cold and in a glass.

Coming very soon, we'll be setting up shop to bring you custom Webtoast Apparel. Stay glued.

ICU

ICU

Jeremiah was mowing his lawn this morning and fell because he could not breathe. His wife took him to the ER. He is diabetic and his blood sugar was over 600. He was one step away from a diabetic coma. He was taken to the ICU at Sugar Land Memorial. I went to see him during lunch. His blood sugar was down to just over 300. He has been given an IV with insulin and morphine. He seams to be doing much better. I was told that he would need to stay overnight. The crazy thing is his health insurance kicked in today!
